Rock of Cashel
We awoke early and walked to the entrance of the Rock of Cashel. It looks like a castle but was actually a church. The buildings date to 1100's but the tower is the only remaining structure left from this time period and the rest of the building is from 1200's. The architecture was gorgeous! There are also remnants of Irish frescos painted on the walls and ceilings. The rock is actually referring to the place where the church is sitting on, not the church.
