River Liffey

After eating we decided to walk around a little. We headed to the River Liffey and walked along it for awhile. This bridge is the Ha'penny Bridge and it's foot traffic only. It was built in 1816 and was the first iron bridge. It was first called the Liffey Bridge but the name was changed to Ha'penny because it cost a ha'penny to cross. After the bridge we walked back to LUAS (the tram) and headed back to the hotel. It was a very long, fun day!
